As a holiday maker myself I know that sometimes it's great to check out what's going on in the area before you set off.  I have tried to list as many attractions both local and further afield as I can along with a brief description. Information was correct at the time of writing.

Great Yarmouth - Link to the Great Yarmouth Official Tourism Website. - Enjoy the thrills and spills of the fairground and take a ride on the wooden roller coaster. - Children's fair with super rides including the snails. - Great Yarmouth's premier pier with shows throughout the summer. - Entertainment and children's adventure play area called The Jungle. - Newest attraction to Yarmouth's seafront. Discover a magical time-travel adventure. - A delightful world in miniature with illuminations in the summer. - Norfolk's living jungle with over 60 species of lizards, snakes and insects. - A fantastic magical show every year. - Greyhound racing and stock car racing are at must at this top venue. - Fancy a day at the races. Here's the place to go.

Norfolk and Suffolk - Family theme park with over 40 rides, shows and attractions. - The family theme park with everything. - Bure Valley Steam Railway. Take a train from Aylsham to Wroxham or included the optional boat tour. - Rural craft centre, junior farm, children's fun fair and gift shops. - The UK's largest privately owned military museum. - A curious treehouse adventure. - 100 acres of parkland home to rhino, lion, giraffe, buffalo and zebra. - It's time you came-n-saurs for a monster day out of discovery. - Set amongst 35 acres providing sanctuary for almost 1000 animals. - Thrigby Hall has pleasantly landscaped gardens, tropical and bird houses and willow pattern garden.

This is just a limit list of things you can do in the area. There is so much more but I haven't got space to put it all here.
